Spicy Sausage Ragu with Pillowy Gnocchi

Made possible thanks to pantry workhorse, home base sauce. As a loyal customer recently said “I feel like I’m winning at (pantry) life when I have jars of Saturday Night Pasta at home”.

To make this sauce, simply fry off some sausage meat with a sprinkle of fennel seeds. Pour in Home Base sauce along with a good pinch of dried chilli flakes. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Throw in cooked gnocchi along with knob of butter, bit of lemon zest, parmigiano and toss, toss, toss. We’ve got all your bases covered.

    Sausage meat
    Fennel seeds
    Home Base sauce

    Gnocchi
    Butter
    Lemon zest
    Parmigiano Reggiano
